StolenCameraFinder Locates Your Camera Using Your old Photos

Stolencamerafinder is a Webb app aimed at finding your recently stolen camera (hence the name) it works by reading the stored information within the chosen uploaded jpeg, png bitmap ect.





The data is stored in the images EXIF data (exchangeable image (file) format) as some cameras record the serial number of the camera used to take the photo.

The web app searches the rest of the Internet looking for images hosting the same camera serial number in its EXIF data.

Kinda useful. Worth bookmarking.
